Alongside my counselling practice, I also tutor on counselling courses at CTPDC Counselling Training Ltd on Rodney Street and offer one-to-one tuition for trainee counsellors to support their formal training. The tutoring is aimed at those who may have worries concerning the academic requirements of their courses. Before training to be a counsellor, I was a lecturer for thirteen years, including six years at the University of Liverpool. I have considerable experience at working with students studying for degrees, masters and PhDs and have published books and articles. I was also an editor of an academic journal for three years.

I will also attempt to address any issue raised by the trainee if appropriate. Guidance can be face-to-face or via email or a combination of the two.
Prices depend on length of tutorial and whether you block book five or more tutorials. As a guide:
1-hour tutorial £20*
2-hour tutorial £30
*If you block book 5 or more hourly tutorials, the rate is £15 per hour with 25% deposit payable in advance.
24 hours notice is required for cancelled appointments and I reserve the right to charge for late cancellations or missed appointments.
