I am a person-centred counsellor with experience of working in the NHS and the voluntary sector who works in the Mossley Hill area of Liverpool. I work with clients in short-term (up to eight sessions) or long-term (twelve weeks and longer) relationships as required. Counselling is a very personal process and you may find it useful to look at the pages explaining both counselling generally and the person-centred approach I use before making an appointment. If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to call me. I offer a free brief initial session (about 20 minutes) to see whether we are comfortable with one another and for you to explore whether counselling is right for you before we agree to a course of sessions.
I also work as a tutor in counselling studies and offer one-to-one tutorials for people who need guidance and support in their diploma studies.
I am a member of the BACP and abide by its Ethical Framework in my practice.
I am fully insured and am committed to on-going professional development.
